i wish i knew how to interpret dreams & discover the meaning behind the things that occur in my dreams. these days i’ve been having bad dreams that seem so real that when i wake up, it scares me.

last night in my dream, i was in a room with my friend. but i had no idea where we were. it was somewhere strange and somewhere i’ve never been to. it was a dimly lighted room & she was talking to me. all of a sudden, this huge, ugly, brown spider slowly creeps down next to her. it was the biggest spider i’ve ever seen in my life and it was hanging from the ceiling, sliding down next to her, but still in mid-air, hanging from its thing that it uses to make its spider web. i was freaking out and got so scared, but my friend didn’t seem to notice. it was THE biggest spider that i’ve ever seen in my life. i yelled and screamed to my friend about the spider next to her, but she still didn’t seem to notice. i was so frightened and worried. i don’t know why, but i was so scared and i started crying.

so, i decided to do some research on dream interpreting. according to dreammoods, spiders mean:

To see a spider in your dream indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or perhaps you want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. Spiders are also a symbol of creativity due to the intricate webs they spin. On a negative note, spiders may indicate a feeling of being entangled or trapped in a sticky or clingy relationship. It represents some ensnaring and controlling force. You feel that someone or some situation is sucking the life right out of you. Alternatively, if a spider is spinning a web in your dream, then it could be a metaphor for the world wide web and global communication.

To see a spider climbing up a wall in your dream denotes that your desires will be soon be realized.

To dream that you are bitten by a spider represents a conflict with your mother or some dominant female figure in your life. The dream may be a metaphor for a devouring mother or the feminine power to possess and entrap. Perhaps you are feeling trapped by some relationship.

To eat a spider or dream that a spider is in your mouth symbolizes your control over a situation. You are not afraid to exert your dominance in a relationship.

interesting, huh? these past few weeks, i have been going through a lot & i’ve been very stressed. i don’t feel like myself. so maybe that’s why i’m having bad dreams. this website has a pretty detailed analysis about spiders appearing in your dreams: http://www.auntyflo.com/dream-dictionary/spider. it says that the spider dream is associated with entrapment and to dream of a big spider is associated with conflict or some female that is taking over your life.

i need to stop with all these negative things that i encounter and have a new beginning. i need to move on and be happy. i need to connect to my inner-self and discover the answers in order to overcome my problem.

… too bad i don’t have the answers. this doesn’t help.

hmm, i wonder if all these interpretations are accurate…
